Day 22 of 30 for 30: A photo of your favorite hideaway.
Good Morning loves!! It’s been a while but I really wanted to finish the 30 for 30 Photo challenge!! So here it goes. I really enjoy reading and I love Barnes and Noble. I can literally sit in there and read my book or their books rather for hours lol. All I need is a tasty White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks and I’m set.

Above is a picture of me, my younger sister and my dad at Disney World. I think I was maybe 6 or 7 and my sister was probably 4 or 5. Oh how I wish I could be a kid again. No bills and now worries= The LIFE! lol.

I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. By having this degree it has allowed me to get a job and start my career. I am glad that I went to USF because I received a great education and met some amazing people that I still keep in touch with. Go Bulls!

Day 26 of 0f 30 for 30: A photo of somewhere you have been to.
This picture is The Fairmont Banff Springs hotel located in Banff, Canada. I stayed here with my family when I was 12 and 15 years old. We went twice lol. This was the most amazing vacation that I have ever took. We stayed in Canada for a whole week. We skiied and explored the city each time that we went. I think I drank hot chocolate 3 times each day while we were there lol. If you haven’t been to Canada make sure to put that on your list. Its a beautiful city. The hotel itself is amazing because it has sooo much for you to do.
Day 27 of 30 for 30: A picture of you last year and now and how have you changed?
Well I am cheating a little bit because I dont have a current picture up of me but you all see how I look now so that shouldnt be a problem. I look the same pretty much but my hair is much stronger and longer. That’s prob the only difference.

I am very grateful for this day and I am proud to have the courageous Barack Obama as my president. I hope that they enjoy this day and hopefully we will be honoring him in February 2013 as our current president.

Hey everyone!! This past Monday I had the pleasure of attending the ILY Beauty Co. launch party at Mia Lounge located in Miami, Florida. What an amazing event! Good Morning loves!! I hope everyone’s day started off fantastic. So a few days ago I attended The Love Affair event and I had a great time. I plan to share with you all pictures from the event in another post. I saw a few pieces that I would like to add to my wardrobe. So since I do not have any pictures from the show I will share with you all what I wore to the event.
So two weeks ago I ordered this lovely grey top ($20.00) from Chic8Boutique.com. I fell in love with it when I first saw it and new exactly what I wanted to wear it with. I can wear that top with a few other bottoms as well so don’t be surprised if you see that in another post in the near future lol. I’ve had the leather skirt for about a year and I am just now wearing it. I lucked out and found this skirt on the clearance rack at Forever 21 for about $9 or so. I was very happy with my purchase!

I was kind of hesitant to wear the leather skirt because I figured it would be too hot for me to rock leather but luckily the weather changed and I happy that I was going to be able to wear it. The tights are my absolute favorite. The only problem is that they twist all up and down my right leg! What’s up with that? lol I still managed to make it work.
I purchased my booties at Rack Room Shoes ($17.00) on sale a few months back and I have to say that they are pretty comfortable. I wore them to work one day and I think I was able to stay in them for the entire day. My good ole purple bomber jacket from Bebe is still holding up strong. I’ve had for about 4 or 5 years and it always gets worn during the fall/winter season. We all have those items that we enjoy wearing certain times of the year!

Hey there!! So I’m sure the majority of us watched the Grammy Awards this past Sunday night and got a chance to see celebrities strut across the red carpet in their fancy gowns and suits. I missed the pre-show because I attended The Love Affair event but I did get a chance to see what some of the celebrities wore. To be quite honest with you all I was very disappointed in the pieces that the majority of the celebrities chose. I think more thought and creativity could have been put forth but that’s just my opinion.
Anywho, I did however fall in love with the lovely Alicia Keys outfit. She looked absolutely amazing and that dress was made for her. I even like how her hair was styled for this lavish event. ASW readers I would love to hear your thoughts about A. Keys ensemble.

Yesterday was such a cold day for South Floridians! We brought out the boots, scarves, gloves, etc. I personally love wearing boots when I get the opportunity. I had this top for a while now (gifted from my sissy) and I love it. It is from New York and Company and it fits me very well. I am wearing a dress as a skirt. When I purchased the dress from the Gap a couple of years ago it fit me well but since I’ve have gained a little weight in the last couple of years the top doesn’t fit me as well as it used to so I chose to wear it as a skirt. Its works lol
Here is my favorite scarf!! I love it. I can wear it with basically anything!
So I titled this post Pasta for Pennies because for the past couple of months at school each class has been raising money to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to find cures for those who have been diagnosed with blood cancers. Several schools around the country are participating and they have raised thousands and thousands of dollars in the past couple of years. Many of the students have sacrificed buying snacks and other nic nacks to help make a difference in someone’s life. The class that raises the most money will receive a pasta party from Olive Garden. Well guess which class won????? ::Drum Roll:: MINE!!!! Woot Woot. My class did a great job bringing in so much money to support such a great cause and since we raised so much money we will receive a nice treat! It is nice to give back to those who aren’t as fortunate as we are and I plan to do more than I already do.
